On a rainy day in Jackson Square, the area is very quiet and devoid of artists, tarot readers, musicians, and other entertainers. In this image one can see the wrought iron fence that surrounds Jackson Square, one of the typical lampposts of the French Quarter, and the balcony of the Pontalba apartments. Storefronts are found on the first floor of the big building. A small canon, yellow iris, other green plants, and a crepe myrtle tree lay within the fence of the square. Very peaceful at the moment there.
