These beautiful stained glass windows grace the sides of the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. The lovely building that houses the Cultural Arts Center was originally built as the Simi Community Methodist Episcopal Church. After that it served many purposes...a private residence, temporary high school, Jewish temple, and even a mortuary. The building was approved as Ventura County's Historical Landmark No. 67 in July of 1981. Ten years later, the City of Simi Valley acquired it for use as their Cultural Arts Center, with the intention of restoring it's original historical features. It officially opened as the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center in November of 1995. It is a beautiful building and it serves it's community well!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature.
